Centrifuge Filter Discs

1500 g Digital Centrifuge Binder Extractor is designed for determining the bitumen content of bituminous mixtures by centrifuging the asphalt sample with a suitable solvent. It features a removable precision-machined rotor bowl, adjustable speed control up to 3,600 rpm, electronic control and a digital display. The unit includes an electric brake and a secure cover with a solvent-resistant gasket to help prevent leakage during testing.
 
The 1500 g capacity makes it suitable for laboratory analysis of asphalt and bituminous materials. The centrifuge is supplied complete with 100 filter discs and operates on 230 V, 50–60 Hz, 1 phase. It conforms to ASTM D2172, AASHTO T164-A and EN 12697-1.
